Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting the next phase of business growth by attracting new clients and managing relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will proactively pursue opportunities for business development, understand customer challenges, and offer relevant ITPS solutions. The role requires experience working in a similar role, ideally in the Tech Sector.
Accountabilities
- Expand the existing client base through building and managing excellent relationships
with prospective clients - Retain customer accounts through excellent account management identifying
business opportunities - Prepare high quality, engaging and business specific presentations for clients and
recommend relevant solutions from the ITPS portfolio working with the Pre Sales Team and Sales colleagues - Develop excellent relationships with vendors for prospecting and closing new
business opportunities - Negotiate sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with new and existing
customers - Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans, ensuring they are up to date
and accurate, keeping the CRM system up to date - Develop knowledge in all core products and services offered by ITPS
- Proactively support the Marketing team to help generate campaigns and leads
- Maintain sales activity and pipeline progression within the CRM system
- Work as a Team Player with colleagues within Sales and Pre Sales to achieve goals
and targets
Skills and experience
- Experience in a Sales role in the Tech sector
- Demonstrable track record in attracting and retaining new business and managing and adding value with existing accounts
- Strong track record achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Used to working with CRM systems
- Ability to build good working relationships
- Confident presenting and meeting new people
- Working with other functions such as Pre Sales to jointly deliver success for the customer and the business
- Excellent communication skills
