ITPS is a growing and highly accredited Managed Service Provider (Tier 1 Microsoft and a Cisco Enterprise Security Partner and is NHS HSCN accredited). We own and operate a Tier 3+ 500 rack capacity Data Centre and are well positioned to provide Mid-Market and Corporate clients with a mix of Public and Hybrid Cloud Services, Security, Connectivity and Data Analytics.

Location: Our Head Office is based in Chester le Street and we do offer hybrid working to all employees however there is a requirement to attend Head Office at least 2 days per week.

The Role

The purpose of the Project Management Officer is to:

  • To deliver small to medium sized work orders/projects, whilst complying with the departmental procedures and objectives.
  • To be flexible, self-reliant, driven, and demonstrate ownership in coordinating and managing project work package activities into the delivery of each project from customer order through to final acceptance.
  • To provide support to the other members of the Project Team.
  • To ensure the customer is always kept informed in relation to their project activity.
  • To ensure the role of PMO drives benefits to the company, its employees and those who report to the employee.

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent skills in all Microsoft office products
  • Pro-active & self-starting with excellent organisation skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Respect for confidentiality
  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and with presentations and reports
  • Previous experience in a similar project / administrative role with technical IT experience
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet business demands
  • Highly motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness

Desirable Criteria

  • Prince 2 Foundation level qualification or working towards
  • Experience in working with Telco providers for the provisioning/ceasing of services.
